Chasing success

Often times we look at successful people and assume they must have a particular talent or set of talents that got them their success, being professional, personal or any type or realization.
I think that as we age and get to know some of this people, we realize they’re not so special, touched by God, particularly gifted. This is both good and bad news because realizing this can lead to a quick depression but also to a personal shift in attitude.
In most cases, succes comes during a process of incremental compounding of actions that add up results over time. Its a grind and resilience of those that achive some sort of psichological equilibrium that allows them to “show up” every day.
See, they are not talented nor gifted, they just found a way to keep at it. That is all. They also might have reduced that “it” more than you think, sacrificing other stuff so they can at least achive a goal like a career, family, losing weight or whatever it might be.
Good luck!
