Human learning model is a modern tragedy

This one is a half full (historically) half empty (present) cup. One one hand we lool back and wonder how much and how fast have humans managed to evolve, passing on knowledge and building on it.
On the other hand we look at current mistakes and with the global visibility amd access to knowledge that technology has enabled, can't help but being puzzled how come we can't manage to agree on basic stuff. Technically speaking our learning models could be much better. Evolving those might bring the leaps we are hoping, if we manage to resist the urge to manipulate each other. Intuitively, we need a trust primitive in our system. Otherwise we run in circles with too much waste, which naturally is as per design but hard to watch with so many of us being connected now.
