While the wide working industry rewards (to a point) the humble people going through the modeling and validation process of society, the personal one does the opposite, imo. Everyone is searching for uniquely funny, inspirational partners while family and school train us for basic silly things.
It’s an absolute nightmare to realize that most partners are copies of their parents, playing silly games just to be accepted as adults.
Btw you might have realized that in the professional area as well, the trully exceptionally successful people don’t have much schooling behind them and have real personalities which led to unique thinking and exceptional results. in other words, you can’t expect exceptional results while following the herd - in any aspect of life.
